Physician Assitant

I moved to Northeastern Tennessee from the Pacific Northwest in Washington state. I attended the University of Idaho for my BS in Foods and Nutrition and I have a Masters in Social Work from California State University. After working as a registered dietitian and diabetes educator, I went back to school through the Stanford Primary Care Program to get my Physician Assistant credential. It has been one of the best decisions I ever made. I have done both Family Practice and Urgent Care but now only focus on Urgent Care. I love seeing people in the clinic and solving problems. 

My goals are to always have people feel that I heard their concerns, and that I provide knowledgeable care. I love Urgent Care because of the ability to see people of all ages with a variety of health concerns that I hope I can help them with so they can move forward in their busy lives.
When I am not in Urgent Care, I spend time with my husband of 38 years remodeling our “fixer-upper home”, gardening, hiking with the dog and knitting. I love to cook, travel to see our two adult sons and daughter-in-law. I feel so blessed to be working here at Foundation Health Urgent Care and becoming part of this community in Tennessee.
